Pediatric Occupational Therapist
Abby is a pediatric occupational therapist with extensive experience in both public and private school settings. She has worked with children of all abilities, supporting those with developmental delays, learning disabilities, and sensory processing challenges. With a background in education, Abby understands the importance of collaboration between therapists, families, and school teams to create meaningful progress for each child.
Abby specializes in helping children develop the foundational skills and independence needed for success in school and daily life. She works with children to improve visual-motor integration, handwriting, self-regulation and sensory processing skills, and executive functioning. She also has extensive experience with social-emotional learning and Social Thinking® curricula. Abby takes a holistic and family-centered approach, equipping parents with strategies to foster their child's confidence and success.
She earned her Bachelor's degree in Psychology from the University of Michigan and a Master's degree in Occupational Therapy from Touro College in New York. Abby is trained in evidence-based programs, including Learning Without Tears, Size Matters Handwriting Program, and Teacher-Child Interaction Training (TCIT).
Abby lives in Bethesda with her husband, their daughter, and their cavapoo, Archie.
